ETP Transmission receives sustainability award
ETP Transmission was recently awarded the Sustainability Award during the international technology and industrial group Indutrades annual conference this June. The award marks a milestone for ETP as the company has geared up its environmental work significantly the recent years.
– It felt excellent to get a confirmation that we've been working on the right things. Sustainability is more important now than ever and we want to do our part for society, says Niclas Rosberg, CEO of ETP Transmission.
“A holistic and structured approach to reducing climate impact, resulting in improved KPIs, engagement, and market positioning. Clear ambition and path forward to continue the climate journey throughout the value chain” was a part of the motivation when ETP Transmission received the Sustainability Award during Indutrades conference this month. The award is based on how well companies manage to enable sustainable profitable growth in their work, something that ETP began working towards back in 2014.
– Eight years ago we did a mapping of all the energy that we use within the company and at the same time we set up a goal to reduce it by half, which we’ve achieved. Now we’re working towards the ambitious goal of becoming 100 percent climate neutral, says Niclas Rosberg before concluding:
– We’re very proud to receive an award for our effort within sustainability; an area which we have worked, and continue working, very hard on. We want to be the environmentally leading company within our field and go even further than what is expected.
