ETP Transmission now offers climate friendly shipping worldwide

From the beginning of 2022 ETP Transmission will offer climate-compensated shipping in cooperation with UPS and DHL. The new agreements are aligned with ETP:s increased focus on sustainability and overall goal to decrease the company’s carbon footprints.
– It’s important to do what you can. Our new shipping agreements will not only have a positive effect on our world, but also allow our customers to order from us with a clear conscience, says Niclas Rosberg, CEO of ETP Transmission.

New year and new climate-compensated shipping arrangements - that’s how ETP Transmission initiated 2022. ETP has officially partnered up with DHL and UPS, who both offer the possibility to counteract the imbalance of carbon emissions that are generated by the transport of their parcels through carbon offsetting. For example, UPS saves an equivalent amount of CO2 through a verified emission reduction project for every tonne of CO2 that a package produces during transport.

– As a company, you have to be responsible for everything, not only the production but also the extension of your business. Since we’re a global company that ships worldwide it’s even more important to offer high quality shipping agreements, which we are very excited to do together with UPS and DHL, says Niclas Rosberg.

An ongoing process
ETP constantly analyses the life cycle perspective in everything that the company produces. The goal is for the production to take place with as little environmental impact as possible. Recently the company was certified in accordance with ISO 14001, a sanction that confirms the companies’ commitment to environmental management. For the upcoming year ETP plans to evolve its environmental focus even more, starting off with climate-compensated shipping.
We look forward to the new year and to step up our work with sustainability even further. It’s an ongoing process that we plan to continue improving, Niclas Rosberg concludes.
