ETP Single screw hub shaft connections
The use of hydraulic locking devices are nowadays recognized as an excellent solution, when fastening quality machine components onto shafts.
The core business of the Swedish company ETP Transmisson AB is to develop hydraulic locking devices for fastening and centering of machine components, tools and workpieces for general machine building, wood- and metal working.
Because of the hydraulic working principle, the components gets perfectly centered around the centerline of the shaft.
The hydraulic locking device consists of a double-walled hardened steel sleeve filled with a pressure medium. The type of pressure medium is selected to give certain characteristics for the locking devise. Because of the sophisticated design only one screw is needed for pressurizing. All of the tightening torque is automatically transformed into a hydraulic pressure used for expansion of the sleeve.
ETP-EXPRESS® is the basic model for all normal needs for qualified connections.
ETP-POWER® has been developed for higher than normal radial force and bending torque. The pressure medium is of higher density and the sleeves are thicker.
ETP-TECHNO® is designed for very low concentricity (≤ 0,006 mm) and thousands of mountings. This is possible through the very accurately machined pressure setting mechanism and double-walled sleeve. This product also serves as a base for customized designs.
All the products only have one screw for tightening, meaning the mounting is done extremely quick.
